The Indigenous Music Officer (we/us/ours) is a music industry association for Indigenous people working in the music industry. Working on behalf of the Indigenous Music Office’s (IMO) Board of Directors, the Operations & Communications Manager is responsible for fulfilling the duties related to the IMO’s functioning as a not-for-profit member-based association, as well as overseeing the communication of the association and members’ achievements and select activities to various media.

Job Description – Operations and Communications Manager

The Operations & Communications Manager will participate in the development and implementation of policies
and procedures. The Operations & Communications Manager reports to the IMO’s Chairperson and is responsible to the IMO’s Board of Directors, and to its membership. Indigenous women, applicants from 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and gender-diverse applicants along with applicants from rural and remote communities are encouraged to apply.
